Reduce recidivism with pen and paper

Our curricula align with risk/needs assessments
We develop behavior change curricula for criminal justice clients working to address criminal and substance use behaviors. Journals cover topics like relationships, criminogenic factors or cognitive-behavioral needs and are designed to target identified risks and needs for justice-involved individuals.
Curriculum In Action
Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP)
Overview
Developed in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the RDAP curriculum was developed for inmates with a documented history of substance use who meet the criteria for a substance use disorder. At 48 months post-release, individuals who completed RDAP were compared to those who dropped out partway through the program.
Results
- RDAP completers were two times less likely to engage in criminal activity
- Four times less likely to engage in substance use
- 10 times more likely to gain employment and housing stability
- RDAP completers were three times less likely to have their supervision revoked than those who did not complete the program
